About

Randi Levinas, Founder & CEO of Levinas Advisory, offers more than two decades of high-profile experience in public policy. She has led a respected bilateral trade association and major business coalitions in Washington, DC, elevating the reputation and visibility of these organizations. She is a trusted resource who has counseled global companies on investing and doing business in some of the world’s most challenging geographies. She has addressed practically every commercial issue U.S. companies from a variety of sectors encounter globally while working in the world’s 10th largest market straddling Europe and Asia -- a market that distinguished itself for its complicated overlay of national security concerns - as well as while working in Latin America.

Randi also brings to the table a professional background enriched with the experience of working on international trade matters and disputes related to metals, manufactured goods, and North American trade.

She has a successful track record helping businesses develop actionable plans amidst some of the most politically-charged scenarios in recent years - both at home and abroad. She offers the polish and gravitas of top executives but can also delve into the nuances of complex regulations and regional developments.

Her expertise includes advocating for U.S. businesses in international trade negotiations, leading U.S. business coalitions, and counseling companies on technical barriers to trade. She is also skilled in crisis management, sanctions policy development and implementation, export controls, restrictive investment policies, and market exits.

Randi was the first COO and the first female Executive VP of the U.S.-Russia Business Council, a non-profit trade association of 200 corporate members, and oversaw its US$2 million budget. She led the organization’s strategy and advocacy efforts  - as well as its day-to-day operations. She also oversaw all external relations, programming, membership, administration and staff, and led the design and execution of the organization’s initiatives.

While at USRBC, Randi dedicated six years as Executive Director of the Coalition for U.S.-Russia Trade, an organization created by USRBC which operated in collaboration with other leading business organization dedicated to maximizing deliverables for U.S. companies in negotiations on Russia’s WTO accession and subsequent Congressional approval of legislation. The Coalition enhanced U.S. companies’ global competitiveness by ensuring a level-playing field in their access to Russia’s market. Later, she was a key player in business coalitions strategizing and defending corporate concerns with respect to implementation issues associated with sanctions and export controls.

Earlier, Randi worked at internationally-recognized law firms on international trade matters for foreign governments and private sector clients in the Western Hemisphere and in Asia, including on a ground-breaking international trade agreement and international trade disputes in the United States and before the World Trade Organization.

She has experience living and working abroad, including in Argentina at the renowned economic research institute Fundación Mediterránea, and she is fluent in Spanish.

She holds an undergraduate degree in International Relations and Spanish Literature from Tufts University, and she received her MSFS degree from Georgetown University, where she was a University Scholar and specialized in International Business Diplomacy.
